“ScalersTalk 口译进阶小组”的前身是“ScalersTalk 交传小组”,成立于 2015 年 2 月,现阶段,小组继续专注高级阶段的交替传译与同声传译训练,在巩固语言基本功的同时训练各类口译技能,从而为承担正式场合的口译打下坚实基础。
第 193 周训练继续关注2030年可持续发展议程,材料选用了一篇关于可持续发展目标在中国系列演讲之目标14保护海洋生态的演讲。小组成员利用该材料练习了交替传译,并学习原文的词汇、表达和句型句式。设备建议:你需要电脑或手机播放音频、手机发送语音。
当然我们也看到有很多的随着海岸带人口和社会经济发展的压力,也面临着很多的挑战。这些挑战导致目前我们近岸海域环境质量总体来说局部污染还是存在。有些局部区也出现比如说负营养化导致缺氧区。还有一些赤潮和绿潮这些发生,这些都是影响我们的海洋环境质量的一些现象发生。还有存在的挑战就是,我们这个区域,中国的沿海海岸线漫长,而且各个地方,污染都是来自陆源,有很多陆源污染物。据目前的监测调查,大概80%的氮、磷都来自陆源污染。所以说,有很多的污染控制,需要有陆海联动,以及陆海统筹这种思路来解决。
Of course, there are a lot of pressures from the population rise and the socioeconomic development of the coastal areas. There are also many challenges. Because of these challenges, there still exists some pollution amid the overall environmental quality of off shore areas. Some areas even become anoxic zone due to negative nutrition. And red tide and green tide are inflicted. These are effecting China’s marine environment quality. Another challenge is that, in this region, China has a long coastline and the pollution in many areas originates from the land. There is a large amount of land-source pollutants. According to the current monitoring survey, around 80% of nitrogen and phosphorous come from the land. Therefore, it is believed that many pollution control require joint efforts between the land and the sea fronts, and using the linking of land-sea coordination to generate unified solutions.

因此,这里的人口发展除了用population rise,还可用population growth, population increase,而不可以直接用development。
陆海统筹:land-sea coordination; 陆海联动:Joint efforts between the land and the sea fronts
有关“来自陆源”的翻译方式,中文用的是同一个词,英文忌重复,要注意多样化。
污染都是来自陆源:The pollution originates from the land/pollution from land-based sources.
有很多陆源污染物:There is a large amount of land-source pollutants.
大概80%的氮、磷都来自陆源污染:Around 80% of nitrogen and phosphorous come from the land
第三个就是除了这两个尺度,应该要把人、社会发展需求以及一些生态服务的共享这些东西的理念,也要进去。这样的话就是说,能够为我们海岸带的以及海洋的资源保护、生态保护的可持续利用,做一个比较综合的判断。加强国际海洋合作,对我们实现海洋保护与海洋资源的可持续利用至关重要。海洋是一个互联互通的共同体,我们很多的海洋问题其实都是跨界的,所以需要我们沿海各国的通力合作。比如说我们从近海的海洋环境保护的经验分享,一些相关技术的交流,以及我们专属经济区,大洋还有深海和极地的保护,都离不开我们国际海洋合作。
Besides the two dimensions, we should include human beings, social development needs and the idea of shared eco-services. By engaging all these elements we could have more comprehensive perspective in the protection and sustainable development of coastal and marine resources. Also, strengthening international collaboration in ocean affairs is vital to ocean protection and sustainable use of marine resources. The ocean is an inter-connected community. Many marine issues are transboundary issues, thus cooperation among all coastal states is important. For example, to share experiences from the offshore environment protection and exchange related technologies. Besides, the ocean protection of the exclusive economic zone, the deep oceans and polar marine areas, all needs international ocean cooperation.
第三个就是除了这两个尺度,应该要把人、社会发展需求以及一些生态服务的共享这些东西的理念,也要(包含)进去。Besides the two dimensions, we should include human beings, social development needs and the idea of shared eco-services.
“把人、社会需求……也要(包含)进去”这里缺少主语,应增加“we”作为主语。
这样的话就是说,能够为我们海岸带的以及海洋的资源保护、生态保护的可持续利用,做一个比较综合的判断。By engaging all these elements we could have more comprehensive perspective in the protection and sustainable development of coastal and marine resources. 这里“做一个比较综合的判断”,指从综合的角度出发保护环境,因此用“comprehensive perspective”。
海洋是一个互联互通的共同体,我们很多的海洋问题其实都是跨界的,所以需要我们沿海各国的通力合作。The ocean is an inter-connected community. Many marine issues are transboundary issues, thus cooperation among all coastal countries is important.

绿潮 Green Tide : 绿潮是海洋大型藻爆发性生长聚集形成的藻华现象。全世界现有大型海藻6500多种,其中有几十种可形成绿潮。绿潮可导致海洋灾害,当海流将大量绿潮藻类卷到海岸时,绿潮藻体腐败产生有害气体,破坏海岸景观,对潮间带生态系统也可能导致损害。
赤潮Red Tide: 赤潮,又叫红潮,是一种水华现象。它是海洋灾害的一种,是指海洋水体中某些微小的浮游植物、原生动物或细菌,在一定的环境条件下突发性增殖和聚集,引发一定范围和一段时间内水体变色现象。
陆源污染物Ocean pollution from land-based sources 陆源污染物是指由陆源排放的污染物。这种污染物可能具有霉性、扩散性、积累性、活性、待久性和生物可降解性等特征。陆源污染物的种类多、排放数益大,对近岸海域环境会造成很大的破坏。陆源型污染和海洋型污染、大气型污染构成海洋的三大污染源。据初步统计,目前进入海洋的全部污染物中有80% 以上来自陆地污染源,包括工业废水、城镇生活污水、农药和化肥、沿海油田排污等,主要通过河川径流入海和沿岸的直排口直排入海,还可以通过大气干、湿沉降进入海洋。
