“ScalersTalk口译进阶小组”的前身是“ScalersTalk交传小组”，成立于 2015 年 2 月，现阶段，小组继续专注高级阶段的交替传译与同声传译训练，在巩固语言基本功的同时训练各类口译技能，从而为承担正式场合的口译打下坚实基础。
第 158 周训练材料选自speech repository 的一系列训练材料，目的在于提升会口译员培训质量。小组成员利用该材料练习了交替传译和限时视译，并学习原文的词汇、表达和句型句式。设备建议：你需要电脑或手机播放音频、手机发送语音。本日志整理的是第 158周汉译英练习的内容，内容是新能源汽车的发展现状与未来前景。
除了发布新车，在逛车展的时候，美国欧洲和日本等国汽车商都在自己的展区画出大片的领地，用来展示新能源汽车！可以看出新能源汽车现在已经成为了各大汽车厂商押注未来的一个重要的砝码。但是在光鲜的车展之外，新能源汽车在全球汽车市场的发展其实并不如人意，无论厂商还有业内人士如何大力的吆喝，我们看到消费者对新能源汽车的认可度似乎还是有一些滞后，新能源汽车在全球的销量也依然很低。以目前新能源汽车销量最大的北美市场来看，2014年他们的销量也仅为四十、五十万辆而已。所以说，不少的汽车企业其实是在亏本。
On auto-shows, many car producers release their vehicles and at the same time, car makers from the US, Europe and Japan dedicate huge areas to new energy vehicles. Many car producers have taken new energy vehicles as an ace. However, the development of new energy vehicles worldwide is far from being satisfactory. It seems that people are not embracing the idea as expected. Despite the promotion of car makers or professionals, the sales of such vehicles around the world are sluggish. Take North America, the biggest market of such vehicles for example, only 400, 000 to 500, 000 vehicles of such were sold in 2014. It means that many companies producing such vehicles are losing money.

销量太少是目前新能源汽车发展所面临的一个瓶颈。而汽车行业又是一个需要通过不断扩大产量来发展来盈利的行业，销量太低导致开发成本难以回收，这是目前新能源企业所面临的一个困境。而目前许多企业也在亏本销售他们的新能源汽车。尽管总销量很低，但是新能源汽车近年来的销售趋势确实还是在不断攀升的。
The sluggish sales of such vehicles are the bottleneck, restricting the development of this sector. In the car industry, producers need to encourage/expand sale continuously and make profit. The lackluster sale means that many companies cannot cover their cost. These are difficulties facing producers of new energy vehicles. But many companies are selling their automobiles that powered by new energy at a loss. Even though the sales of such vehicles are elusive, the trend of the development of the sector is encouraging.

以中国的市场为例，2013年中国销售的新能源汽车达到了1.76万辆，2014年这个数量已经超过了5.7万辆，所以年增幅达到了2.24倍。进入中国市场不到一年的特斯拉也已经卖出了数千辆电动车，并且在中国20多个城市建立了52个超级充电站。所以现在中国的顾客已经可以开着特斯拉电动车往返于北京和上海等地，进行长途的旅行。特斯拉负责销售和服务的全球副总裁也告诉笔者，他们将来会在全球范围内建设工厂，这样他们的电池成本会进一步的下降。而且在三年之后，他们会推出自己新一代的电动车，这样的话售价有可能会比现在降低一半，销售量预计也会大幅地增加。
In the Chinese market, in 2013, 176,000 new energy vehicles were sold. In 2014, the sale of such vehicle exceeded 570,000, up by 2.24 times. Tesla, a company that has come to China for less than one year, has sold thousands of vehicles and has built 52 superchargers in over 20 cities in China. That means Chinese consumer can drive to and from Beijing and Shanghai in their Tesla. Tesla’s Vice President of Sales and Service said they are planning to build factories worldwide, so the cost of battery will be lowered. And they also plan to release the new electric vehicles in three years, so the cost will be halved and sales will rise significantly.
