“ScalersTalk 口译进阶小组”的前身是“ScalersTalk 交传小组”，成立于 2015 年 2 月，现阶段，小组继续专注高级阶段的交替传译与同声传译训练，在巩固语言基本功的同时训练各类口译技能，从而为承担正式场合的口译打下坚实基础。 96 周起，小组全面引入 CATTI 新版二口教材的训练，时间为每天晚上 8 点到 9 点，训练期间播放录音、记笔记，在空白处按暂停键后做口译，用 QQ 发群语音，然后对照文档，查找漏译和错译的部分，标出口译时较为困难的词汇和表达，随时发到群里；每天早上 6 点到 7 点训练复述。
第 112-113 周训练材料选自国务院副总理李源潮在生态文明贵阳国际论坛年会上的致辞。小组成员利用该材料练习了交替传译和限时视译，并学习原文的词汇、表达和句型句式。设备建议：你需要电脑或手机播放音频、手机发送语音。本日志整理的是第 112-113 周汉译英练习的内容。
生态文明贵阳国际论坛为各国交流分享生态文明建设经验、促进可持续发展国际合作提供了重要平台。本届年会以“改革驱动，全球携手，走向生态文明新时代”为主题，很有现实意义。人类与自然共同组成世界。人类是自然孕育的精华，自然是人类生存的环境。人类与自然的友好和谐相处，是人类社会可持续发展的必要条件。人类如果对自然进行破坏式的利用和改造，自然也必然还给人类报复式的惩罚。
The Guiyang Eco-Forum is an important platform for countries to share experiences in ecological conservation and promote international cooperation in sustainable development. The theme of this year's annual conference "Joining Hands, Leveraging Reforms to Bring Forth a New Era of Eco-Conservation" is of great relevance and significance. Man and nature are all parts of the world we live in. Man is the great achievement of nature, while nature provides the surroundings in which man lives in. Friendly and harmonious coexistence between man and nature is the prerequisite for the sustainable development of human society. If man should exploit and transform nature in a destructive way, nature will inevitably respond in kind.

改革驱动，全球携手，走向生态文明新时代：解读为“全球携手，利用改革促使生态文明新时代的到来”，译作“Joining Hands, Leveraging Reforms to Bring Force a New Era of the Eco-Conservation”；请注意“……”主题的译文一般会要求首字大写（介词、冠词除外）。
人类与自然共同组成世界：其中“组成”可译作“be part of”或“be composed of”、“form”、“consist of”、“be comprised of”等等。本句译作“Man and nature are parts of the world we live in”。
人类是自然孕育的精华，自然是人类生存的环境：解读为“人类是自然伟大的产物，自然为人类提供了生存环境”（该解读可见于 CATTI 二级口译教材解析部份第一点），译作“Man is the great achievement of nature, while nature provides the surroundings in which man lives in”。
历史和现实都警示我们：人类必须自觉地与自然友好相处，人类的发展必须与生态的发展平衡共进。中国是生态文明建设的倡导者和实践者，节约资源、保护环境已经被确定为中国的基本国策。改革开放以来，中国现代化建设取得了举世瞩目的成就，但中国作为世界上最大发展中国家的地位没有变，中国仍处在快速工业化、城市化进程中。

China actively champions and engages itself in ecological conservation. Resource conservation and environmental protection have become China's basic national policy. Since the reform and opening-up, China has made widely recognized achievements in its modernization drive. Yet China still remains the world's largest developing country that is in the middle of accelerated industrialization and urbanization.

We are working toward the binding targets of reducing energy consumption per GDP by 16%, cutting carbon intensity by 17% and slashing the discharge of major pollutants by 8%-10% for the 12th Five-year Plan period. We are making accelerate and efforts to conserve energy and reduce in such priority sectors as industry, construction, transportation, and are pressing ahead with the action plan on air pollution prevention and treatment. China has played an active part in global environmental governance, earnestly implemented relevant international environmental agreements, scaled up assistance to developing countries in funding, technology and personnel training, and worked hard to contribute to global ecological security. Ecological conservation is vital for the well-being and future of mankind, and it brings about historical opportunities for the development of the world.
