写在前面的话

“ScalersTalk 口译进阶小组”的前身是“ScalersTalk 交传小组”，成立于 2015 年 2 月，现阶段，小组继续专注高级阶段的交替传译与同声传译训练，在巩固语言基本功的同时训练各类口译技能，从而为承担正式场合的口译打下坚实基础。

本周复盘说明

第 173 周——知识点整理

段落一

今天我们大家来讨论2030可持续发展议程当中的目标五：实现性别平等，妇女和女童权利。促进性别平等，赋权妇女是联合国可持续发展的重要内容。我们知道在千年发展目标当中，目标三有一个具体目标，四个具体的指标。我们知道在千年发展目标执行结束的时候，全球的评估都显示了一个很有意思的趋势，那就是各国的教育水平，各国的妇女健康水平，各国的妇女参与就业的比例都得到了明显的增长。但是性别不平等在世界各地仍然存在。因此，在新的2030可持续发展议程当中，包括旧的目标没有实现的和新出现的性别不平等的问题都成为国际社会的关注和妇女运动的追求。

Today we are going to discuss the SDG 5 in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. Promoting gender equality and empowering women are important contents in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. It is known that, in Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), Goal 3 has a specific goal and four specific targets. As we know that at the end of MDGs, the global assessments revealed a interesting tendency, which is a significantly increase in education level, women’s health level, and proportion of women in employment around the world. However, gender inequality still exists all over the world. Thus, in the new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, both old goals which are unaccomplished and emerging new problems in gender inequality have become the focuses of the international community and the pursuit of women movement.

China has made great progress and achievements in this aspect, for example, in 1980 China has signed up and implemented The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women(CEDAW), which is one of the 9 core United Nations conventions on human rights. Another example is that China has enacted The Law on the Protection of Women’s Rights and Interests in 1992, which has been amended in 2005, it is clearly stated in the general provisions of the new amended version that to end violence against women in all its forms.
