Week46

下面是笔译训练群的第四十六周（2016.03.07-2016.03.13）训练日志，共包括五个每日一句（英译汉，汉译英）和一个周训练（英译汉，汉译英），均包括原文，参考译文，词汇整理以及相关点评。材料主要来源于外刊，政府工作报告以及笔译教材。

DAY279

1.英译汉

Mr. Hayardeny said he had not taken video of himself for fear it would be upsetting to his children. “My father, he was a very handsome and tall man and had his hair to the very last day,” he said. “He lost a lot of his looks, and it was terrible to watch. That was the memory I have of him.”

参考译文

The pedestrian was fine, but not so much Google’s car, which was hit from behind by a human-driven sedan. Google’s fleet of autonomous test cars is programmed to follow the letter of the law.

那个行人没事，但谷歌那辆车却没那么幸运。它被后面的一辆由人驾驶的轿车追尾了。 按照设计，谷歌的自动测试车会严格遵守法律条文。

A system will be instituted under which public servants of Party and government offices at and below the county level can be promoted in terms of both their post and their rank, and are paid accordingly. 1、英译汉（342）

Tonight marks the eighth year I've come here to report on the State of the Union. And for this final one, I'm going to try to make it shorter. I know some of you are antsy to get back to Iowa.

I also understand that because it's an election season, expectations for what we'll achieve this year are low. Still, Mr. Speaker, I appreciate the constructive approach you and the other leaders took at the end of last year to pass a budget and make tax cuts permanent for working families. So I hope we can work together this year on bipartisan priorities like criminal justice reform, and helping people who are battling prescription drug abuse. We just might surprise the cynics again.

2、汉译英（245）

我们要加强宏观经济政策协调。全球经济金融形势越是严峻复杂，就越是需要各国同舟共济，共克时艰。G20成员国在制定本国宏观经济政策时，既要考虑促进自身增长，也要考虑外溢性影响，加强相互的沟通和协调，共同维护和促进国际金融市场稳定。

Macroeconomic policy coordination needs to be strengthened. The global economic and financial situation may have become more grim and complex. It is time for countries to stand together to tide over difficulties. When formulating national macroeconomic policies, G20 members need to keep in mind not just their own growth. They also need to look after the spillover effects of their policies. They need to increase communication and coordination, and work together to ensure stability of the international financial market.
