As I know the people who live in the mountains usually have long lives ,I think the reason is that :

①there are fresh air,fresh food in the mountains. The people who live in the mountains are away from fog and haze. They eat different kinds of vegetables grown by themselves. They make themselves more heathy than the people who live in the city.

②There are no buses,cars and trains, and the environment is elegant. They have freedom and peace.

③They needn't sit in the office all day , they can walk along the river and have a walk in the woods after meals.

As a city dweller, I feel embarrassed to say that, I don't know anything about those people who lived in the mountains. Actually I have heard of some imporverished family, who lived in Sichuan Ganzi District and A’ba District. Their live the same lives as church mouses, and they have to scrape by rural poverty relief.

Actually, there isn't any one who I know live in the mountains around me. The only one who I know working or living in the mountains are monks. Their temples always establish in the middle of a mountain, and the monks help prayers connect with the god they give their invocation.

My family had a travel to MAO mountain, GUIZHOU, in 2012. We hired a young man as a guide ,this was my first time to meet a mountain man. The young man had taken care of my daughter in the whole travel. He told us he was luck to go out of guizhou and see the outside. the furthest place many people have ever visited in their life is guiyang. He had a girlfriend whose parents didn’t agree with them, for he was a man who live in the mountain. He was a honest and kind man.

They will go a long way if they want to go out of the mountain. Sometimes, they would cross the dangerous pass on foot. The weather is very changeable. And the temperature drops to very low at night. When the weather gets bad, for example, if there is a storm, they maybe suffer damage. Their houses would be damaged by the storm.

These days, there are so many people who tend to leave cities and live in mountains. They always have good jobs and salary in cities, but they think the working pressure is too high. These people prefer peace life in mountains to crowd life in city.

They rebuilt houses which are cleaner and more comfortable in mountains, they plant fruits, crops and vegetables by themselves. It is very cool and comfortable to live in mountains in summer, so they will invite their friends to their houses to live for a few days. They also rent rooms to travelers and provide food and goods to them too. As there are not enough rooms for tourists, the price of room may be very high then.

But in winter, the mountain life is very quiet, for it is too cold and inconvenient to live there.

They lead a monotonous and inconvenient life. For the network and transportation is not good, they have less forms of entertainment, and they are not able to surf the internet ,and children there have to spend several hours walking to school.

In China, nowdays, fewer and fewer people live in the mountains. Especially the young, most of them go outside the mountains to look for a job. So the people left in the mountains are old people and children.

People who live in the mountains have their own farms. They feed cows, chicken and ducks. And they grow all kinds of vegetables by themselves. They live a quiet and peaceful life. The sky is blue there, the water is clear and the air is fresh. It's a different experience for the people who live in the city.
